Bio: Hello everyone, I'm Joseph, and I am a Junior doing a Dual Degree in Psychology and HMS with minors in Cognitive Science and English. I am originally from NYC and now live in Bucks County. At Lehigh, I am very involved with research, working in two different psychology labs studying attention/memory and prejudice/bias. In addition, I am an Impact Fellow, where I studied the effects of social media on adolescents' relationships, disclosures, and well-being. I also love to teach; I am an AT for the Introduction to Psychology class, a TRAC writing fellow, a tutor for the local middle school, a peer educator for SPEAK, and a mentor for first-year students. Beyond campus, I worked at a drug discovery company in Montreal, studying Parkinson's disease and gaining a general understanding of research and medication development.
Outside of school, I love to read, write, and listen to music. I am currently writing a collection of short stories about childhood nostalgia; my favorite author is John Steinbeck, and my favorite artists are Conan Gray, Ariana Grande, Phoebe Bridgers, and more! I have around 35 plants that I care for, and I collect many things, such as magazines, Snoopy memorabilia, Monet prints, classic novels, and anything I can put on my walls. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!!
